Paris

When I was considering in September, where I will travel during autumn, I admit that Paris was one of the last choices. Somehow I thought that perhaps except the Eiffel Tower does not offer anything extra. Of course everyone knows the Louvre, Elysee Palace, romantic bridges dotted with locks and so on, until I could write for a long time and still  I would not  write all what is in Paris.

What about destiny wanted, all destinations I picked up were too expensive, once time it was accomondation, next time air tickets. Throughout browsing the internet and search options me constantly jumping up window "Eurotrips, cz - Paris 3500 -" From the beginning I ignored it, because I definitely did not want to go to Paris and not at all with "some" of the agency.

The more I have browsed the internet, the more I began to wonder about offer from Eurotrips.cz. 

Not only that, it was the cheapest option, but also to a more thorough study basically meet all my requirements. Which is: I want to know the history of the city, but seriously  I wanna have head like "a ball" from all the informations, I want to see the city, but really I'm not going to fall down at 8 pm by tiredness.  I really want to enjoy the night atmosphere of the city.

And really Eurotrips.cz fulfilled all promises. It is clear to me that you're thinking that  Eurotrips paid me for advertising, but no. Those who were with them already knows too well what I write about. And whether I want to or not, this cool bunch of people  will occur in this article often, because thanks to them, we had the "time to never forget"

After a night spent in the bus, we finally arrived in Paris and the first thing I thought was "Hooray, I ll see the Eiffel Tower, and I am done with Paris!" Okey, I was totally wrong.

When you arrive in Paris, the first thing that welcomes you there is an "industrial" zone and the Seine. Basically you will  almost remember Prague how beautiful the city is. The more, however, at the center, the more it changes the Paris from"industrial zones" in city full of historical monuments and cafes. But still it is not a "right" to what you might expect from Paris.

Before entering into the very center, local crew joined to us, and then followed 2 hours listening about history of Paris. For those who like history, it was definitely perfect. For those who like to get to know the city differently, so after half an hour did not listen, only admired Paris. It was my case. Towards the end I was really looking forward to the hotel, and that I'll have an hour to relax and that I can really experience the city firsthand.

About the accommodation just that I really didnt expect such a comfort.As the plan was evening cruise on the Seine and then go sit down somewhere for a wine, so it was quite a dilemma how to choose shoes. "Converse" and well-being or vice versa ballerinas and take a chance that I will suffer. As I followed my own the rules, I will not rush to go anywhere so the choice number 2 was clear. At least 

I tried to calm down if I get lost, so I will not look like a "complete tourist" with "sneakers" and backpack on  back.

I'll be honest, after the first question how to get somewhere, I was brought out of the error. If you do not speak French, so it is with the Parisians really severe communication, because they do not communicate otherwise. Aye it was my first encounter with the locals.

Another was better and because of that I finally found the courtyard of the Louvre, where I finally saw the famous glass pyramid. It was beautiful, but what impressed me even more was perhaps the way from the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower.

Since the metro and I have never been friends anywhere, so I decided to take a walk. And I'm not sorry. Because instead of finding the right place at the metro station, or even trying to navigate  from the map, I just went Eifell tower direction. Well, in the worst case, if I lose I can call new friends from Eurotrips. 

They certainly (and I later tried :) ) will be on the phone.

The moment I left the courtyard of the Louvre, I found myself in the Tuileries gardens.

And in that moment, there was the view, which conquered me. Lots of people at the picnic, street performers and all with a view of the Eiffel tower and sunset.

I wanted to stay there longer, but I could not because it was almost 19:00, and we had a meeting at 20:30 in front of the Eiffel tower. And the cruise on the Seine I really did not want to miss, had no choice but to go.

 Along the way I passed a lot of bridges including the famous one with locks, lots of locals who simply enjoyed the day in a cafe with a book and frankly, just in their place I wanted to be, because this is what I really dont know how to do just take a rest and chill. 

The way I ran and the more I was approaching the Eiffel Tower, the more I faded away. Because the "damn" tower nowhere to be seen. The only thing that comforted me was that all that I asked for directions told me, "Go straight" and all of a sudden the tower finally appeared. A close view is perhaps even more amazing than the one from afar.

To my amazement, I was there with advance and I had time to eat something small.

So I went to the restaurant by the Seine where I was not anymore surprised arrogant staff, instead of that I had a minor shock when I saw the receipt and there was 5,50 Euro for half a liter of sparkling water. 

So it was a lesson for next time :)).

Finally, the time was approaching 20:30 and trip participants began to arrive, including our friends - the organizers. And we finally set off for a cruise on the Seine.

And here I wished for a second that I have more time Paris really "experience". Paris is alive with sunset. A changing in another city but it retains the same grandeur as during the day.

With the only difference that families with children in the Seine replaced with young people who sit on the banks of the Seine, drank wine, or played a musical instrument. All of that had something common. Nobody there was alone.

The cruise was over and it was time to experience the nightlife atmosphere. As it happens, not all were planning to go, and here it has Eurotrips.cz planned just  perfectly.

We split into two groups. Some went to the hotel, and my evening in Paris which still was not enough, we followed Alex from Eurotrips, and we relied on him to take us someplace serving fine wine. He  did not disappoint.

All the way ruled a great mood, and of course could not miss questions: Are we there yet? How far? Of course, there reigned own rules. In Paris, nobody cares about traffic lights. We also didn´t care about it, however we followed the blue light. Although none of us knew what the means, if its stop or go, but at least it was fun :))

Finally we arrived at the bar, where we got great waiter nicknamed "Alfred". The beautiful thing was that even though our "Alfred" did not speak English, always answered before we could ask.

Another very positive things on this trip was the atmosphere and the fact that although I previously did not know each other, as to or actually mainly thanks to the people of Eurotrips we were able to talk as if we have traveled together x years. 

   If I'm honest, I actually felt there almost better than with the people I know for years.

And that the next day we had planned a trip to Disneyland, and the breakfast was "only"  till 9:00, so we sit on the wine pulled through until 2:00 a.m. including our delegates.

Because they could not  spoil the fun, and let us get lost somewhere in the middle of Paris :)

The next day, I admit, waking up was cruel, but it all erased arrival to Disneyland, where we went back to childhood. 

   When  the traditional promenade began, accompanied by well-known Disney songs, so I clearly had equipped memories of childhood and the problems of everyday life were gone.In The Disneyland were other challenges in the form of roller coasters, for which you did not know what to expect, either because they are covered completely, or what is waiting for us, we found the right before joining. And for me it was actually good, because I would miss for sure lots of fun. This way I could at least try adrenalin firsthand.

The second park I unfortunately could not go through what I have succeeded as a pearl in the end, was get lost there. Yes, it would not be me if I did not lose at least once somewhere :)). 

Of course, just before the departure of the bus from the park.

 But as I indicated at the beginning, the boys nicely helped me over the phone find a way and still call the bus driver.

Mohl bych se alespoň pokusit na konci fyzického stavu spustit. Protože i když bych rád, aby zůstali v Paříži, moje peněženka říká něco jiného. Bohužel.

Anyway, I  was leaving Paris with the feeling that I will definitely  come back, and that trip with Eurotrips.cz was certainly not the last.

Paříž

Když jsem v září zvažovala, kam se na podzim vydám, tak Paříž byla přiznám se jednou z posledních voleb. Tak nějak jsem si říkala, že snad kromě Eiffelovky nenabízí nic extra. Samozřejmě každý zná Louvre, Elysejský palác, romantické mosty poseté zámky a tak dále, až bych mohla psát ještě dlouho a stejně bych asi nevypsala všechno.

Co asi osud chtěl, všechny mnou vybrané destinace vycházely finančně draze a nebo to bylo příliš komplikované.  Po celou dobu brouzdání na internetu a hledání varianty mi neustále vyskakovalo okénko "Eurotrips,cz - Paříž 3500,-" Ze začátku jsem ji ignorovala, protože já v žádném případě nechtěla jet do Paříže a už vůbec ne s "nějakým" zájezdem,

Čím více jsem však brouzdala po internetu, tím více mi začala vrtat hlavou varianta od Eurotrips.cz.
Nejen, že to byla nejlevnější varianta,  ale taky to po důkladném prostudování v podstatě splňovalo veškeré mé požadavky. Které jsou : chci znát historii města, ale nechci mít po výkladu hlavu jak balón, chci vidět město, ale opravdu nemíním večer padnout únavou,  a naopak si chci vychutnat večerní atmosféru města.

A opravdu Eurotrips.cz splnil vše co slíbil. Je mi jasné, že si teď myslíte, že mi Eurotrips zaplatilo za reklamu, ale ne. Ti co s nim již byli ví moc dobře o čem píšu.  A ať chci nebo ne, tahle fajn banda se v mém článku bude vyskytovat často, protože díky nim proběhl pobyt na 1*.

Po noci strávené v autobusu jsme konečně dorazili do Paříže a první co mě napadlo bylo "Hurá, uvidím Eiffelovku, a mám zmáknutou Paříž!" Byla jsem na omylu.

Když přijedete do Paříže, první co vás tam uvítá, je průmyslová zóna a Seina. V podstatě málem vzpomínáte na Prahu jak je tam hezky. Čím více se však dostáváte do centra, tím více se Paříž mění z "průmyslové zóny"  na město plné historických památek,  a kaváren. Ale ještě stále to není "to pravé" to co od Paříže asi očekáváte.

Před vjezdem do úplného centra města se k nám přidala průvodčí, a nás čekalo asi 2 hodinové vyprávění o Paříži. Pro ty co mají rádi historii, tak určitě super. Pro ty co rádi poznávají město jinak, tak po po půl hodině neposlouchají ale pouze obdivují Paříž.  S to byl můj případ. Ke konci už jsem se vlastně těšila na hotel, až si dám hodinku relax a můžu opravdu ZAŽÍT město na vlastní kůži.

K ubytování jen to, že takový komfort jsem opravdu nečekala.  Jelikož plán večera byla projížďka po Seině a pak si jít někam sednout, tak bylo docela dilema jakou zvolit obuv.  "Konversky" a pohodička nebo naopak baleríny a risknout že budu trpět. Jelikož jsem se držela pravidla, že se nikam hnát nebudu tak volba č. 2 byla jasná. Aspoň
jsem se snažila uklidnit že když se ztratím, tak že nebudu vypadat jako "úplnej turista" s keckama a batůžkem na zádech.

Budu upřímná, po prvním dotazu na cestu jsem byla vyvedena z omylu. Pokud nemluvíte francouzsky, tak je s Pařížany opravdu těžká domluva, protože oni se jinak nebaví.  Toť k mému prvnímu setkání s místními.

Další už bylo lepší a já díky tomu dorazila na nádvoří  Louvru, kde jsem konečně uviděla slavné skleněné pyramidy. Bylo to krásný, ale co mě uchvátilo snad ještě víc byla cesta z Louvru k Eiffelovce.

Jelikož já a metro jsme nikdy nikde nebyli kamarádi, tak jsem se rozhodla vzít to pěšky. A nelituju.  Protože místo hledání správné stanice na metro, nebo se vůbec pokoušela zorientovat v mapě jsem šla prostě směr Eifellovka. No co v nejhorším případě, když se ztratím volám kamarády z Eurotrips.
Ti určitě (a to jsem si i později vyzkoušela) budou na příjmu.

V momentě kdy jsem opustila nádvoří Louvru, tak jsem se ocitla v Tuilerijských zahradách.
A v ten moment se mi naskytl pohled, díky němuž si mě Paříž podmanila. Spousty lidí na pikniku, pouliční umělci  a to vše s pohledem na Eiffelovu věž a západ slunce.

Chtěla jsem se tam zdržet déle, ale nešlo to, protože už bylo skoro 19:00 a my měli sraz v 20:30 před Eiffelovou věží.A  jelikož jsem plavbu po Seině opravdu zmeškat nechtěla, nezbývalo než vyrazit.




 Cestou jsem minula spousty mostů včetně toho slavného se zámky, spoustu místních, kteří si prostě užívali den v kavárně s knihou a a upřímně řečeno, právě na jejich místě jsem chtěla být, protože já takhle vypnout neumím.

Cesta ubíhala a já čím více jsem se přibližovala Eiffelovce, tím více jsem se ztrácela. protože jsem tu "zpropadenou" věž nikde neviděla. Jediné co mě uklidňovalo  bylo, že
všichni, kterých jsem se zeptala na cestu mi řekli "pokračuj rovně" a zničeho nic ta věž se konečně objevila. A pohled z blízka je snad ještě úžasnější, než ten z dálky.

K mému úžasu jsem tam byla i s časovým předstihem a já měla čas dát si i něco menšího na zub.
Zašla jsem tedy do restaurace u Seiny kde mě už arogantní obsluha nepřekvapila, pro změnu jsem měla menší šok, když mi na účtence přistála 5,50 Euro za půl litru perlivé vody.
Hold poučení pro příště :)).

Konečně se blížil čas 20:30 a účastníci tripu se začali scházet a to včetně našich  kamarádů - pořadatelů. A my konečně vyrazili na plavbu po Seině.

A právě tady jsem zalitovala po druhé, že nemám více času Paříž opravdu "zažít".  Paříž totiž ožívá se západem slunce. A mění se v jiné město, které si však zachovává stejnou noblesu jako přes den.
Jen s tím rozdílem, že rodiny s dětmi u Seiny se vystřídaly s mladými lidmi, kteří posedávají na nábřeží Seiny a popíjí víno, nebo hrají na nějaký hudební nástroj a to vše v doprovodu přátel.

Plavba skončila, a byl čas zažít noční život atmosféru. Jak to tak bývá, ne všichni měli v plánu pokračovat, a i tady to má Eurotrips.cz zmáknuté.

Rozdělili jsme se na dvě skupiny. Jedni šli na hotel, a my kterým večerní Paříž ještě nestačila, jsem následovali Alexe z Eurotrips, a spoléhali jsme na něj že nás zavede někam kde se podává kvalitní víno. Nezklamal.

Celou cestu vládla skvělá nálada a samozřejmě nemohly chybět otázky typu: Už tam budem? Jak ještě daleko? Samozřejmě i tady vládla vlastní pravidla.  V Paříži platí, že se na semafory nehraje. My jsme je však taky neřešili. My totiž následovali modré světlo. Nikdo z nás sice nevěděl co kdy znamená, ale aspoň byla sranda ne? :)

Konečně jsme dorazili do baru, kde nás obsluhoval námi přezdívaný "Alfréd". Krásný na tom bylo to, že ačkoliv náš "Alfréd"  neuměl anglicky, vždy odpověděl dřív, než jsme stihli položit otázku.

Další strašně pozitivní věci na tomhle tripu byla ta atmosféra a to, že ač jsem se předtím navzájem neznali, tak i díky nebo vlastně hlavně díky lidem z Eurotrips jsme se dokázali bavit, jako bychom spolu cestovali již x let.
  Budu-li upřímná,  já se tam cítila málem lépe, než mezi lidmi které znám roky.  A to jsem tam byla úplně sama, bez toho aniž bych předtím někoho znala.

A na to, že druhý den jsme měli naplánovaný výlet do Disneylandu, a snídaně by
la "jen" do 9:00, tak jsme si posezení na víně protáhli do 2:00 a to včetně našich delegátů.

Protože ti přece nemohou kazit srandu, a nechat nás se ztratit někde uprostřed Paříže :)).

Druhý den se přiznám, vstávání bylo sice kruté, ale to vše vymazal příjezd do Disneylandu, kde jsme se vrátili do dětských let.
  Když začala tradiční promenáda, za doprovodu známých Disneyho písní, tak se mi jasně vybavily vzpomínky na dětství a problémy všedních dnů byly pryč.

V Disneylandu pak byly jiné výzvy a to v podobě horských drah, u kterých člověk nevěděl co čekat, protože buď byly kryté úplně, nebo to co nás čeká jsme zjistili těstě před nástupem. A já za to vlastně byla ráda, protože bych se jinak připravila o spoustu zážitků. Takhle jsem si aspoň vyzkoušela adrenalin na vlastní kůži.

Druhý park se mi projít bohužel nepodařilo, co se mi ovšem podařilo jako perla na závěr, bylo ztratit se. Ano, nebyla bych to totiž já, abych se alespoň jednou neztratila. Samozřejmě těsně před odjezdem autobusu z parku.  Ale jak jsem naznačila na začátku, kluci fungovali dobře a i po telefonu zvládnou poradit a ještě zavolají řidiči, aby počkal.



Já si aspoň na závěr vyzkoušela kondičku v běhu. Protože ač bych v Paříži zůstala ráda, tak moje peněženka říkala něco jiného. Bohužel.

   Každopádně já odjížděla s pocitem, že se tam určitě ještě vrátím, a že výlet s Eurotrips.cz určitě nebyl poslední, který jsem s nimi podnikla.

Lefkada... hidden treasure among Greece islands

A lot of Europeans dreams about visit Seychelles or Caribbean, but sometime they dont realize what kind of" traveller´s treasures" we have here in Europe. And Lefkada is one of them.

Lefkada is one of the islands where you can find everything.

 If you do kite, then go to Gyra beach, but still enjoy sandy beach with small stones and turquise water.
Sometime during the kite session you can meet some curious turtle. If you like diving, then you can stay on Gyra too, because right in the corner of Gyra is small reef, where you can see the fishes of all colours, but if you like to watch just fishes without diving glasses wake up in the early morning go to the water, stay quietly in one place and just watch in to the water, and you can be sure that you will see the fishes too,



And how the day runs, its evening and you continue Yours vacation, if you stay near Gyra, you have to go to Lefkas (the biggest city on the island), but not at night,but before the sunset, in the center of the city is a small promenade with far away view on the Gyras beach but it doesnt change nothing about the sunset, go to the small bridge which is next to promenade, and enjoy the view. The sunset will shine  all shades of yellow, orange and red.After that with an amazing feelings and hopefully peace in heart continue with  walk throught the city, visit the small shops, and enjoy tasting Souvlaki, Gyros and all                                                                                             what the taverns offer.

              I ve visited alot of places in Greece, but in Lefkas the cuisine was the best.

Thats one part of the island, another part maybe more famous is Nidry, small town on Lefkada, its very
popular because of night life, small beaches, and expensive stuff. To be honest, even I love Lefkada, I could never ever stay in Nidry. Nidry is an amazing place for trips, but thats it , because the beaches over there re too small and overcrowded by tourist.




But anyway Nidry had also bright sides. Right from the beach you can look on  the Oasis islands, which re just magnificent. If you want to explore them more, then just rent a boat for a day and enjoy the exploring the places, you thought you could never seen, or you didnt know that they are so close to you (if you re from the US, then there is just one advice, forget Paris or London, those places you can see everywhere on the pics, but  Lefkas no. )




Beaches ...

On the island you can find so many beaches, few of them are really famous.
The most famous is called Porto Katsiki, is pretty big beach (bigger than usual famous beaches), its stony beach with turquise water, I dont know, I was not too charmed by, maybe because there is always too many people.






Another famous is Egremni ... This beach is the place where I always wanted to go, always planned it but I really never got there, but from the parking place by the way it looked nice.









But if I skip another beaches...

 Milos beach ...

Kathisma beach










There is still my favourite one, the name is Gyra, yeah you ve read about it on the top of the article but this beach is really my the most favorite. There is just everything except milions tourist...

San Sebastian... piece of Rio in Spain

When I set out on Surf trip to Dreamsea, so I was looking forward to three things: surf, party and a trip to San Sebastian, which was part of surf. 


San Sebastian is located on the west coast of Spain, about half an hour from the border with France, already when arriving to San Sebastian and captivates the landscape around you, and it is only just beginning. 

  When you finally arrive in town, touches you wonderful, relaxed atmosphere with a touch of history. While walking through the city you wander through the narrow streets that are full of different shops, restaurants and bars.
During the walk you should not miss a stop at one of the many tavernas and sample a local specialty. 

But if you like a sweeter wine (sangria dont  count), so be prepared to encounter some Spaniards because although they have excellent wines, sweet but not really.

The city is beautiful, but the bay is the right magic. 
If you really want to enjoy it, go to the observatory and each grab a glass of wine or just a sangria, and you will experience one of those sunsets that you will remember for a long time. 

And why is the title "San Sebastian ... small Rio in Spain"? Because the bay guards a statue of Jesus on the top of hill . Unfortunately, I was not yet in Rio, but the statue and view of the bay gave me at least the illusion, how would it be just in Rio.

As sunset ends, and a glass of wine or Sangria sits empty, it's time to go to the streets of San Sebastian and finish great day at one of the clubs and get to enjoy the night while it is still young.

San Sebastian ... malé Rio ve Španělsku

Když jsem vyrážela na surfcamp do Dreamsea, tak jsem se těšila na 3 věci: surf, party a výlet do San Sebastianu, který byl součástí surfcampu.

San Sebastian se nachází na západním pobřeží Španělska, zhruba půl hodiny od hranic s Francií, už když přijíždíte k San Sebastianu, tak vás uchvátí krajina kolem vás, a to je teprve jen začátek.

Když konečně dorazíte do města, dotkne se vás úžasná, uvolněná atmosféra s nádechem historie. Během procházky městem budete bloudit úzkými uličkami, které jsou plné různých obchůdku, restaurací a barů.
Během procházky byste neměli vynechat zastávku v některé z mnoha taveren a tam ochutnat místní speciality. 

Ovšem pokud máte rádi sladší víno (sangriňu nepočítám), tak se připravte, že asi narazíte protože Španělé mají sice výborná vína, ale sladké opravdu ne. 

Město je krásné, ale zátoka ta je přímo kouzelná.
Pokud si ji opravdu chcete vychutnat, vydejte se na rozhlednu a s sebou si vemte skleničku a víno nebo právě Sangriu, a zažijete jeden z těch západů slunce na které budete vzpomínat ještě dlouho. 

A proč je nadpis " San Sebastian... malé Rio ve Španělsku" ? Protože právě nad zátokou je postavena socha Ježíše. Já bohužel v Riu zatím nebyla, ale ta socha a pohled na zátoku mi dal alespoň tu iluzi, jaké by to asi bylo být právě v Riu. 







Když západ slunce končí, a sklenice vína či Sangrie zeje prázdnotou, je čas vydat se do ulic San Sebastianu a zakončit parádní den v jednom z klubů a pořádně si užít noc dokud je ještě mladá.

Czech Republic, the place where the princesses and princess come from ....

So when I was working in the US, alot of people asked me where I m from, when I said I come from the Czech Republic. The first thing they said was: " oh Czechoslovakia", then Prague, they told me also that they know Vaclav Havel, or Jarormir Jagr... It was really nice, but still why should they visit our little country? 



Here is my answer... 
Do you remember, when you were just a little kids and watching Disney´s fairytales? ¨
Have you ever considered how it would be if you were a princess or prince?  Didn t you ever want to try it ? Be a princess or prince just for a day? Didn t you ever want to walk throught a castle?

The visit of the Czech Republic wont make of you princess or prince, but  at least you can try by yourself how it is walk throught the castle. You get closer to the home of the royal families and Disney´s inspiration.

You can imagine, how it would be, if you lived there hundreds years ago and feel the atmosphere.

But if you have big imagination, you gotta visit some of many castle ruins and try imagine how the ruin looked before it was really ruined. The ruins are usually in the middle of woods or somewhere on the top of hill. So except thinking how it was times ago, you cas also enjoy the magical view.





For those who like jewels, they should visit chapel of St. Wenceslaus in St. Vitusin in Prague in spring 2018, Because it will be the time for exhibition Bohemian Crown Jewels, which happends once in 5 years. And then you ll see real treasure among jewels. 

Dreamsea in Moliets et Maa.... Surfer´s paradise in west France

I visited France many times before, but always my ways were directed to the south of France. But this time, because I wanted to try surfing, I changed direction and headed to the West to the small town, hidden between forests called Moliets et Maa.

Moliets et Maa is about an hour away from the border with Spain and less than an hour's drive from the famous resort of Biarritz.

Coast around the Moliets is very wooded, and honestly when I arrived to the camp, so I did not believe that somewhere in the neighborhood is the ocean and place called "Surfers Paradise". I just nowhere along the way did not see any beach .....






...A few words about surf camp .... 
I decided  for surfcamp Dreamsea. Why? Because of the price, facilities, ratings and also because it organize few people from Czech R. I personally was not lucky enough to meet someone there from the Czech Republic (most people was from Germany, Spain or UK) , but it does not change the fact that the camp site organizes a great bunch of people that will help you quickly fit (even if you decide to go solo)

Arrival takes place so that you can accommodate either immediately, or you fold up luggage in a common tent and wait before you assign a roommate. Since I had to wait for the tent, so I did not hesitate and decided to explore the nearby beaches where on the following days  I will "fight" with waves. 

Get to the promenade takes about 10 minutes brisk walking (In Dreamsea thought that sometimes short walks can be just good for our condition :))

Promenade in the Moliets imagine something like this: One 
long street full of restaurants, bars, enticingly fragrant surfshop bakeries and boutiques and the atmosphere around you complete surfers heading to the beach.

After a long walk through the city I returned to camp and it had sequentially came more campers and fun was beginning to creep. On the begin, you have a "Welcome party" where they sequentially meet instructors as well as other people.

Other days run like this: get up, go to breakfast, where at the same time we are also preparing lunch in the form of baguettes (this is one of the most important parts of the day, what could be worse than an empty stomach? :)) 
During breakfast you realize by other surfers, what are the waves ... after breakfast you go looking for your wetsuit and  also hope that nobody took yours (and it sometimes happens :)) 
After that you go to the beach, if you have the "luck" and belong to the group that the day begins with the first so "get ready your muscles" because kilometer tote board with not quite so much fun :) Fortunately surfers are mostly gentlemen so do not worry girls mostly to find someone who will at least part of the way to help board,

After we finally get over the river and the last 300m, which is the board you will seem endless warm-up waiting for you ... and do not worry boredom due instructors definitely not.

After the warm-up awaits lessons, where you will find  out how to behave on surf, what to do or not do, followed by training on land and when the lecturer finds that all of you are well prepared, so lets goo to  the water.

After the lesson, you can stay on the beach or go back to the camp where followed by a siesta is just up to you, how you will take advantage of free time.


About 6 pm  is time to start watching mobile phone, and begin to look forward for  the dinner, which is always a delight thanks to the chefs.

After the meal awaits either a competition or party.

Anyway camp every Wednesday's trip to San Sebastian. It is definitely not to miss.

Other days, when constantly improve your skills on a surfboard run away very quickly  and there's a Friday, when it is time for  a huge GOOD BYE PARTY. 23:00 When you drink, you dance in the camp and then after 23 h to move to the center to the local bar with live music.

So if you surf attracts so feel free to go to the Moliets et Maa.

Dreamsea v Moliets et Maa.... surfařský ráj v západní Francii

Francii jsem navštívila již mnohokrát předtím, ale moje cesty vždy směřovaly na jih Francie. Avšak pro tentokrát, jelikož jsem chtěla vyzkoušet surfování,  jsem změnila směr a vydala se na Západ a to do malého města, skrytého mezi lesy zvané Moliets et Maa.

  Moliets et Maa se nachází zhruba hodinu cesty od hranic se Španělskem a necelou hodinu cesty autem od známého letoviska Biarritz. 

  

Pobřeží okolo Moliets je velmi lesnaté, a upřímně když jsem přijížděla ke kempu, tak jsem nevěřila, že někde v okolí je oceán a tzv. surfařský ráj. Prostě jsem nikde po cestě neviděla žádnou pláž.....




... Pár slov o surfcampu....
Já se rozhodla pro surfcamp Dreamsea. Proč? Kvůli ceně, zázemí, hodnocení a taky proto, protože kemp zprostředkovávají i Češi. Já osobně to štěstí potkat tam někoho z České Republiky neměla, ale to nic nemění na tom, že kemp na místě organizuje skvělá banda lidí, která vám pomůže rychle zapadnout (ikdyž se rozhodnete vydat se sólo).

Den příjezdu probíhá tak, že buď vás ubytují hned, a nebo si složíte zavazadla do společného stanu a čekáte než vám přidělí spolubydlící. Jelikož já si na stan musela počkat, tak jsem neváhala a rozhodla se prozkoumat okolí a pláže na kterých budu následující dny  "bojovat" s vlnama.

Dostat se na promenádu trvá asi 10 minut svižnou chůzí (asi si v Dreamsea řekli, že nám  krátké procházky občas nezaškodí :))



Promenádu v Moliets si představte asi takto: Jedna
dlouhá ulice plná restaurací, barů, lákavě vonících pekáren surfshopů a butiků a atmosféru kolem vás doplňůjí surfaři na longboardech mířící na pláž.

Po delší procházce městem jsem se vrátila do kempu a to už postupně přijížděli další účastníci kempu a zábava se začínala rozjíždět. Hned na úvod vás čeká "Welcome party" kde se postupně seznámíte jak s instruktory tak i dalšími lidmi.

Další dny probíhají asi takto: Vstanete, jdete na  snídani , kde si zároveň připravujete i oběd v podobě baget (tohle je jedna z těch nejdůležitějších částí dne, co může být horší než prázdný žaludek :))
Během snídaně zjišťujete od ostatních surfařů jaké jsou vlny... po snídani jdete hledat svůj neopren a zároveň doufáte, že nikdo vám ten váš nevzal (i to se občas stane :) )
Po té jdete na pláž, pokud máte to "štěstí" a patříte do té skupiny, která ten den začíná první tak si "namažte svaly" protože kilometr se vláčet s prknem zas taková sranda není :) Naštěstí surfaři jsou většinou gentlemani takže holky nebojte většinou se najde někdo kdo vám alespoň část cesty s prknem pomůže.

Po té co konečně překonáte řeku a posledních 300m, které se vám s prknem budou zdát nekonečné vás čeká rozcvička ... a nebojte se nuda to díky instruktorům rozhodně není.

Po rozcvičce vás čeká lekce, kde zjistíte, že jak se na surfu chovat, co dělat a nebo nedělat , pak následuje trénink na suchu a když lektor zjistí že všichni jste dostatečně připraveni, tak huráá do vody.

Po lekci buď zůstanete na pláži a nebo jdete zpět do kempu kde následuje siesta a je na vás jak volný čas využijete.

Kolem 6 hodiny už začnete sledovat čas na mobilu a začínáte se těšit na večeři, která je díky kuchaři vždy zážitek.

Po jídle vás čeká buď nějaká soutěž nebo party.

Mimochodem kemp každou středu pořádá výlet do San Sebastianu. Ten si rozhodně nenechejte ujít.

Další dny, kdy neustále zlepšujete svoje schopnosti na surfu utečou strašně rychle a ani se nenadáte a je tu pátek, kdy se koná GOOD BYE  PARTY.  Kdy do 23:00 pijete, tančíte v campu a pak po 23. hod se přesunete do města do místního baru kde hraje živá hudba.

Takže pokud Vás láká surfování tak neváhejte a vydejte se do Moliets.

Prasonisi, place which you WONT fell in LOVE with for the FIRST TIME

Prasonisi located on the island of Rhodes and is the most southern point of the island. It is about 90 km from the city of Rhodes and the nearest larger town of Lindos is about 40 km away.

When you arrive (moor) on the island, so you are welcome by sandy coast, bars, hotels and various shops. A paradise for those who like a typical vacation that does not involve anything more than relax on a sun lounger by the pool and from time to time to bathe in the sea and in the evening, head to one of the many taverns in and try a typical Greek specialties. Alternatively, go to have fun in a bar, where they party until the early hours.

However, if you are among those that have the "typical" tired of vacation, and you do not mind "a little bit" of wind, so you should definitely visit peninsula Prasonisi.

Vacation on Prasonisi you can spend either in apartments, caravan (flat car), or in a tent. As way of accommodation suggests, it's definitely not a holiday for those who want to spend their leisure time at the pool and sip a drink at the bar.

When you will get closer to the peninsula along the main approach road and the large hotel resorts will start becoming smaller apartments and bars and shops begin to dissapear  and vice versa wind begins to add. This is a sign that you are approaching Prasonisi. After about an hour and a half away from Rhodes arrive at the village of Katavia, and in the beginning you will see Prasonisi indicator, turn left and you will experience 10km, during which time asking yourself "Where do I go to hell?" As for the 10 km you meet no more than a chapel and a small fruit stand. But when you finally reach almost to the end of the road, so you spread a unique, breathtaking view of the peninsula Prasonisi, which is connected to the mainland by a sandy beach, which is lined on two sides sea. The west side the Mediterranean Sea and the east side Aegean Sea.

 The Prasonisi you can watch from different angles. Be a tourist who arrives there for a day, or as a kiter / surfer who goes there for wind or other variant of it as a person who is not there as a tourist, but it is not an enthusiast kitesurfing or windsurfing. It is the person who got there somehow by accident.

When I first time got there, I had the opportunity to see the reaction of all three groups of tourists after kitesurfer. And I myself was also the one who got there somehow by accident. And believe it or not, but when I saw the first Prasonisi so my first thought was definitely not a "wow, that's great." Rather, the questions went through my head, "And here I like to spend three weeks? Is crazy? What do I do here? 'Cause when I passed the "center" so I only saw 2 surfmarkets, 2 restaurants and about 3 apartments. The scary concept for most people who like to walk by the sea along the waterfront and all around them is full of bars and restaurants.

On the other side team "kiters" was thrilled. Strong, steady winds, wide beach and two spots in one. On one side of the wave on the other beautifully smooth water. In addition, if you choose to spend your stay in a camper, so no hitting cops here. Just great :)).

I had two options. Just condemn this place or look at it from another perspective. After two days, when  I took place from the perspective of classical tourist who likes a quiet beach, bars and walks along the promenade, I began to understand what I had seen and normal tourist seldom sees.

Even when you wake up and get out of the tent, caravan or apartment so you can see the positive and relaxed atmosphere all around you.

If you like fun,  hang out with friends, or meeting new people and you will like it there because of meeting new people there really is not an emergency.

For those who do not surf and kite: Start to do it or pretend that those sports you understand :).

And then you definitely will not miss any party. Though not every night, but from time to time it happens that some surf / kite school any such party in the open air and hold it then it is worth it.

(The following morning with a hangover is already worse :)) ).

Someone  during stay  realizes that  for enjoying summer by the sea, really needs just a little. All you have to do is stop waiting for the best and you will get experience a summer full of experiences and moments that you will remember for a lifetime.
